The North East Aircraft Museum is run by volunteers and survives purely on donations

Vulcan XL319 is the museum's main attraction and is 1 of 2 aircraft not under cover but they do hope within the next few years all aircraft will be undercover. Vulcan XL319 is currently undergoing a massive restoration project. They are hoping to get the aircraft re-painted and try and save the aircraft from the northen weather before its to late.

NEAM are holding a number of open days in 2008 following on from the success of the first annual jeeps and jets weekend:

19th and 20th April NEAM First Annual Helicopter Drop in Weekend

Fathers Day Special Sunday 15th June

28th and 29th June Second Annual Helicopter Drop in Weekend

16th and 17th NEAM Second annual jeeps and jets Weekend
